Post by: Hootowl on April 21, 2011, 11:02:46 PM
I may have missed this but thought i would ask again do you want to face the Sun, If it raises or do you put you back to where the sun comes up?

I say sun at your back. Set up in the shadows if at all possible.

It'd be harder to see the birds in front of you with the sun in your face... I'd imagine it'd be hard for the birds to see you with the sun in their face as well... Plus you don't have to worry about a reflection either... Good luck this year  :icon_thumright:

I've seen scenarios where birds will also circle some to avoid direct sunlight in their eyes. At times they use the light to their advantage, so it's hard to say? Best scenario would be with sunlight shinning towards you, although your postion shadowed as someone mentioned. Which will give the birds a safe approach looking into areas with the sun at ther back as they prefer?
