Went on a hunt with a lady friend today and she was looking to tag her first bow bird, just after the noon whistle a gobbler worked in but kept shy of "coming in" bow range, as he skirted past the last DSD I took him at 27 yards. We made a move in our set and worked another pair of toms in range and had some mechanical issues, the birds walked off the set. Got the bow tuned back in and will be back at it in the morning!
Bird weighed in at 24.49, 1" & 15/16" Spurs, 10 1/8" Beard

Melted off pretty quick, had a couple of upper 50 and low 60 days in a row.
