I have been asked by many why I love turkey hunting the way I do. I tell them it is hard to explain but either you love it or you do not. This video by Shane Simpson shows the true emotions of someone that loves the sport. In the video Tim Murdock is hunting for the first time in 10 years after going totally blind 2-3 years ago. His faithfulness and humility is shown brightly in the video as well. This is probably the best turkey hunting video I have watched. Hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did.

Great video, love the emotion. That reaction pretty much sums it up. We're so blessed to be able to hunt these great birds.
If I'm not mistaken, I believe Mr. Murdock is a member on here and can flat out make a box talk.
Do not know if he is a member. Quite possibly could be! I have seen several videos of him running a box and you are quite right that he can flat run one!

Touching, something we take for granted brings great joy to that man
Thank you for sharing this.
I had never met Tim before, but he reached out to me with some McKamey box call info, after I had commented on one of his video clips. We ended up talking on the phone for a solid 45 minutes to an hour (maybe longer) about box calls and turkey hunting. Very down to earth guy who was willing to help a turkey hunting brother out. I asked about how he gobbles on a box call, so after we got off the phone he made a short video and text it to me. That boy can flat out run a box call! Couldn't think of anyone more deserving of a gobbler. Congrats Tim!
Great video! Thanks for posting.
