Struck out in Illinois for the WMA I had access to. Saw some tracks but heard no gobbling in two and a half days. Couldn't get a shock gobble to save my life. The WMA is flooded and the hardwoods that I bet they are holed up in are inaccessible. I give up :( no more otc permits for this week anywhere in Southern Illinois. So.......
Headed to Sturgis, KY to the Big Rivers WMA. Anyone hunt here? Anyone wanna join me? Anyone feel bad and wanna put me on turkey?
