Getting interesting here in CT. Gobbling has just picked up as temps got in the 50's and today 60's. Had a big rope in my hay lot right below my bedroom window. He was red hot trolling with no hens. Gobbling every ten minutes or so. I saw a group of 25 or so the night before mostly hens only a few fields above. I'm hoping he is happy and he sticks around for 12 more days.
Your a lucky guy to get to watch turkeys from your bedroom window
Yes I agree, I thank god for it every day. Last year I was fortunate enough to watch a tom breed a hen from that same window. I hunt in Ct for the first week and then go to camp in NY for May. As I ready my gear for the upcoming season ,if the cards fall into place I get a turkey show out my window. This may seem lucky for me,but this was by design. I've been at this since 1987. This is my passion. I made up my mind that someday I would own my own farm.
