Title: Spray paint on duratouch?......
Post by: Reloader on April 21, 2011, 09:46:24 AM
I have rattle canned a few guns with good results and I'm thinking about doing it to my black SX2.  I just don't know if paint will adhere to the duratouch finish on the stocks.  Anyone tried it?

I'm also considering having it dipped as well.  The thing shoots great and actually has a nice trigger for a scatter gun, so I'm going to have it drilled and tapped for an extra FF I have on hand and do a camo job as well.

Thanks,

Reloader

LOL you sound like me. I love to pimp out guns. I take pleasure with the spray can and some stencils. If I don't like it, just spray some more.

I have been thinking about having a gun dipped in predator green deception though

Ms. Wicked has her own ghillie suit too.

Didn't work on my M2 pistol grip. Not sure if it's duratouch, like on the Browning Abolt, but it's similar. I had to remove the paint, as it remained tacky for some time.

Here's a link to the finished gun though.

Thanks David.

You can get just what you want and start over when you get tired of it.
