I look forward to your opinion of it. I was going to be getting a vortex venom but being a Nikon fanboy, I've postponed getting it to see how the Nikon is

I look forward to hearing what your thoughts are on Nikon's Spur. They seem to be flying off the shelves as 2 retailer's I go to are sold out and waiting to be restocked. What will you be mounting it on?

Well hear is my thoughts on the spur, one it comes with a 5 year warranty I like that. Top load battery, water proof,3 moa dot with ten brightness settings and good glass,
I did get 2 the first gun that got it is a stoger.got the egw pick rail on it. Sight in was easy shot 3 boxes of Magnum loads to just b safe no problem. 10000 hr battery life and at 1.1 ounce u don't know it's there, the second one is going on a win x3 20,. And I did talk to the Nikon rep for a good while and he gave me a good price on the pair

Does it have the same mounting system as the venom and fastfire?

This week I had my 2nd set of Nikon Monarch binoculars fail in the exact same way. Dealing with Nikon's customer service was a giant headache last time, and it was this time too. Those binocs will be the LAST Nikon product I will ever buy, regardless of what the product is.
I sincerely hope the Spur works out for you, and that you don't have to deal with their crappy customer service.

I bought a Nikon Spur for my Benelli Nova turkey gun which should be the perfect fit for it. I tried it on my .44 Desert Eagle and a Ruger 22/45 and it functioned perfectly on both. You need a picatinny rail for mounting and a buddy had to add a riser to use one on a SBR AR. So far so good and no complaints. Plugging steel plates at 25 yards is easy as heck with the 3 MOA dot.

can you use Sumtoy's new mount with the Spur?
