Title: Odd Sight
Post by: kdfester on April 03, 2018, 08:39:38 PM
I was glassing a lone big gobbler tonight in a field. He was in half strut and then layed down in the field but he was still in half strut like with his tail fanned out completely.  He acted like he was breeding but was all alone. He was layed down for a solid 10 minutes.  He then got up and shook himself for a few times and strolled into the woodline.  He wasnt making any shaking motions as if he was dusting and it was raining. Anyone ever see this activity?

Yes, just like a bedded deer.
