Have a ff3 that when I was shooting it developed a small little crack around the lower left corner of glass I kept shooting it seemed ok we are getting close to season think it's ok to keep hunting didn't seem to effect accuracy? No clue how it even happened developed after a shot no impact hits
I would call Burris, they are a top notch company. They will take care of you.

Contact them they might send you a new one before you have to send the old one back if you explain it's during season that way you can swap some afternoon and re dial in.

Not sure how many year had my FF3 I love it. Only problem I ever had with it, was when I was replacing the battery. The screw driver slipped one time and I wrecked the screw driver slot to remove the battery cap. Just last week I called them and 3-4 days later had new one in mail free of charge. Thanks FastFire.
In my experience they are some of the best in the business when it comes to warranty and issues. Call them. You'll have a new one before you even have to mail that one back I'd be willing to bet. I've never seen that issue though with many shots and many buddy's hunting with them.
Told me they are 3 week turn around and they don't mail out ahead of getting broken one first
