Well, my FIL and I put out the turkey blind a couple of days ago. We decided to move it up 100 yards into the field next to a huge rock. This will move us closer to the birds, but still well over 100 yards from the roost. When we observed the turkeys over the w/e, we saw a pile of jakes and a couple longbeards. Hopefully, Harrison can connect on April 30th!
Then on May 1st, I'm taking a very good friend and his daughter out for her first ever turkey hunt.
Lets hope I can call one in for her! I don't think much calling will be needed in the area where Harrison is hunting. I think a couple of hen decoys will do the job!
Wish us luck!
Good luck Mike, youall are going to hammer'em. A day early but...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Good Luck.
I just wish it would stop raining here so I could get out. Two tractor trailers washed away this morning and floated down the river. They are trying to figure out how to get them out of the river. Rainiest spring that I can remember.
Yes sir this has been a heck of a spring for weather. I just hope this snow stops, we got another 3" yesterday.
