I'm wanting to try to bow hunt em this spring and can't decide what broadhead to try. I shoot a wasp drone when I deer hunt but was wanting to get an expandable. Anyone use the Jak hammer or Jak knife broadhead? If not what do ya use? I also thought about the magnus bull head. It'd be cool to decapitate one! Thanks for your time and help

Whatever setup you use for deer will work great for turkey. That being said, I prefer a large mechanical, simply because the vitals are small, and I'll take any chance I can to increase my success. I shoot rage hypodermic heads for both. Also, set up your decoys properly, and you'll have a 10-12 yard shot, so shot placement becomes much easier at those distances.

i like shooting turkeys in the head or neck with a bow and i have shot rage for deer and turkey for years with great success.
1 1/2" spitfire or 1 3/4 " wasp jack hammers.

Those old school, cheap broad heads from the 70's work.You will lose lots of arrows.
Wasp jak hammers is all I use for turkeys....i just like the idea of 3 blades hitting them.
The key with bow hunting turkeys is patience.....you have to let them offer the shot, never rush anything....and be prepared to have a few birds come in and leave without getting shot....just part of the game.
If you are hunting from a blind and plan on shooting them at 10 - 15 yds....practice that shot!
Your 20 pin should be close enough at 10, but could be high at 15...
Large cut three blade mechanical heads 1 3/4 plus preferably...bullheads are fun but some have issues tuning them and you need heavy spined long arrows with large feathers to shoot them and they are not good in the wind!

Always liked grim reaper whitetail specials with a 3 blade 2 inch cut. Lost a bird on a shot id take again and switched over to magnus bullheads 125s and wouldn't go back. For me I'm good from 5 to 20 yards on my first pin so no complaints with the bullheads. I use Easton FMJ 300s with (3) 5 inch feathers and have no issues with arrow flight.
You can buy 3 dollar broadheads.buy a good blind, don't scrimp on that.Buy a good bow. Find a good ambush spot, where you can climb a tree, that works, but hard to draw while in a tree.

I will be turkey hunting with my Xbow this year because of a surgery, I can't shoot my shotgun yet. I'll be shooting Killzones by NAP. They did the trick on three deer for me last year.
I shoot them with the same 2 blade heads I shoot deer with from my recurve. The only change I make when hunting turkeys is to use a string tracker. If you're going to hunt them from a blind and plan on really close shots, practice those shots before the season. I set up my blind and 3d targets in the yard and practice 5 yards to 30 yards.
