Title: Dad's purpleheart over cedar
Post by: cloverleaf on March 20, 2018, 01:38:10 AM
I recently bought one of these from Midwest turkey call supply. It hasn't sounded right since got it. The left side is decent but I can't get an awful screech to go away on the right. Have any one of you had any problems with these?

Had one that sounded like that also. Call was pretty but sounded bad.

I've heard multiple reports that those boxes are extremely hit or miss

I have one, its a pretty call. Nice wood and all. But I'd say they are to thick on the sides and could use more tuning. Mine is the same way. But, that's just my guess, with at least the one I have.
