Title: conditioning corian
Post by: chbarnha on March 12, 2018, 10:40:14 PM
On the enticer calls such as the sidekick made out of corian what do you do to condition the corian when it seems the part you play on the corian starts losing its sound? sandpaper?

Thanks, that's what I thought, just didn't want to tear up the back of a call using the wrong thing. Am I correct in saying that the regular wet one with the deckboard pot will not do the same as the corian pot? I cant get sound out of it

Never tried it but I don't think you can play the deckboard calls on the back, too soft

I believe the deck board on the wet one has a type of oil in it. It won't work very good as a striking surface.
