Title: 4 big gobblers
Post by: Tidewater Tom on March 08, 2018, 04:23:11 PM
I saw four longbeards last weekend where I hunt.  I mean beard draggers!  I hunt on on the NC/VA line.  What's the chance all four will be around for my son and I to hunt in early April?

I'm not sure how much property you have to hunt but chances are good that one, if not all four won't be to far.  Especially if there are fields around like what's in your avatar.    Good luck.

I agree, they just may not be together by then.

That's the same field I saw them in.  I have about 400 acres over there and some fields.  I'd like for my son and I to get a double there this year.

Looks like a good spot for it.   I hope y'all get the opportunity to double up.   Some of my fondest childhood memories is of turkey hunting with both my Dad and Mom.

chances of them staying together are slim. chances of them staying on 400 acres are very good
