i went from working 14-20 hours a week in March to working 60 hours a week in April. Glad for the work, but it wreaks havoc on turkey season. Looks like it is gonna slow down some in the next few days, so maybe i can still smoke one. Almost 2 weeks left in the season. Congrats on all the great birds you folks have been killin.

I hear ya on the work thing.  Sometimes the only thing to do is call in sick.  And be sure to use the phrase "explosive diarrhea".  That stops all questioning quick.   ;)

good luck. I was trying hard to end my CA season today. The gobbler had other ideas. He flew the road and strutted out in the middle of the field until I had to go to work.
