Title: Good morning scouting!
Post by: chatterbox on March 03, 2018, 08:23:57 AM
Well, me and H went to a couple of our favorite listening spots, and not much after first light heard a lone gobbler fire off on the roost!!!
Then, as the morning progressed, we went and glassed out favorite spots and saw what appeared to be a bachelor group with a couple of hens. The boys were chasing and you could see the pecking order is starting to work itself out!
Was so awesome to see the strutting and hearing a gobble, even if the season is exactly 2 months away!

Last week things were starting to fire up here in SC, after these last couple days of cooler weather though the boys went silent.
