Title: Ol tom Half mask vs buff
Post by: TKE921 on February 27, 2018, 12:47:12 PM
Has anyone tried the performance half mask and the buff, or does anyone have pics of themselves wearing one or the other?  After reading the opinions in the other facemask thread I have decided to go with one of these 2 to replace my old workhorse HS Strut mesh facemask.  The wife took a pic of me with it on the other day and you could clearly see my entire face through it.

I wouldn't go buff.  Last time I did, I got all scratched up.

I have both. I like the buff best. The half mask was kinda right. The buff isn't as tight and can pull back on cap. I also have the full face mask and think I like the buff better. May sell the other 2 they are brand new never left house. They are mossy oak obsession.

I have been using a buff style mask lately and my only complaint is having to pull it down to take diaphragm call in and out.

I like the half mask, can let it hang around my neck and pull up when needed

I've got both. The buff is my go to. The fit is just a little looser.

I'm a half mask guy. It's righr there when I need it and out of the way when I don't . When it's really hot though, I will break out the thin net mask and also leave the vest in the truck.

Pull your cap bill down low and on your gun and if he gets close enough to see your face he should be floppin! :OGturkeyhead:
