Title: 2.75 longboard 5’s?
Post by: chbarnha on February 25, 2018, 02:13:12 PM
I just got back from shooting my browning auto 5 2 3/4 stalker model with 28" Barrel. I tried these shell in everything from a Roy Rhodes .655 to a gobbling thunder .680 with a Carlson .665 and browning extra full choke and a stardot inbetween.... the patterns were horrendous. Any thoughts on something else to try? The best combo I had was the stardot and that was basically about the minimum I would use to hunt putting about 80 in the 10. Really expected much more

Kinda surprised by that.
A 1 1/4 ounce  shot in 5's isn't much.
Try Winchester rooster  6's I guess.
About 60 more pellets to work with.
