Title: Which striker next?
Post by: RiverRoost on February 25, 2018, 12:50:29 AM
I've recently got a stuckeys Macassar ebony and I absolutely love it on any pot I play. His strikers feel good weight wise and sound amazing. What other strikers of his should I get?

Tulipwood and Bubinga.  Those are my favorite Stuckey strikers in addition to the ebony you have.

Agree on Tulipwood then I would add Osage and bloodwood. If I could only have 3 wood strikers for the rest of my life these would be the 3

I really like the Stuckey strikers too. His Dymondwood works really well, as does his purpleheart.

The three pots I'm going to carry are davids new green slate, crystal mistress and maybe his wenge slate. I have the halloran ipe, blood wood, hickory, his two piece diamondwood and another two piece that came with the crystal mistress as well. I have a down n dirty war hammer flared diamond wood also. As well as a primos "cutting striker" don't know the wood type of it.
