Why do blind manufacturers, specifically Double Bull and Alps, not install separating (jacket) zippers in their blinds? Once you zip it up (down), you have no view or cannot shoot out of the back of the blind. Seems It would be common sense to install a two headed zipper, so once you close the blind up, you could unzip a small portion from the top down to see or shoot from and get some ventilation also. We're talking $5.00 at most additional cost and it would make the blinds so much better.
I've made the suggestion to Primos..it seemed to go right over their heads.
Anyone else been in a blind and had deer, turkey, hogs come in from the back and not able to get a shot?
I buy blinds that have surround view for when it rains or when i take my son and it still happens once in awhile. I always pull the back up so they dont silhouette us.
I look at it as they are giving us an opportunity to hunt longer... :funnyturkey:

I think one the reason they don't add a window in the back is just to give you black out from anything looking in thru the front , which helps conceal anything seeing your movement ...
I use a blind VERY seldom. But the ones I have are el cheapo Ameristep Doghouses. Inexpensive, light, durable and the type of zippering (I believe) that you are wanting.
I have several Double Bull Blinds, one thing I have noticed is my models with the back window are somewhat of a hassle getting in and out of because of that window and it's closure, my model with out the window works better for me. I always set my blind as a diamond NOT a square and I have several reasons for this. I have thought of taking the old blinds and sewing the window closed 3/4 up and leave as a "peek" window. I hate to be silhouetted from the back of the blind, I want it total blacked out. If you sit in that back corner of the blind you can see 270° from position.

I like the Ameristeps myself, the spring steel ones. I bought a Barronete* Pentagon blind 2 years ago and though I love all the room in it the vertical zipper door was very noisy getting in and out through (The door was loud, not the zipper) and the material wore very quickly in the corners.
