#51. Congratulations Hoot...
It's rained all day and supposed to continue through the week. So my question is what's a good rainy day pre-season turkey activity? Loading tss, practicing calls, cleaning your gun, sorting out your gear, or whatever. Post up in one sentence.
I'll run a number generator sometime Friday night and the corosponding post number will receive a two pack of diaphragms. Let's give away a Double Bit and a Heckler.
Best of luck.
Sitting on back porch with cup of coffee listening to gobbling across the back yard then making some more calls.

Just got my Halloran laminate green slate in the mail and the wife is out of town for two weeks so testing out the new call on a nightly basis is the slam dunk answer to this one. Not sure my upstairs neighbors are real thrilled but I usually stop practicing by 8:00 so what do they have to complain about right?
Calling all the members on surrounding leases and tell them their property was sold and the new owner will not be honoring any hunting right agreements that the previous owner had in place.

I get on OG to try to keep everybody in line, and hope it is raining in Oklahoma so that Sam is bored and will decide to give some more stuff away and that I will choose the right time to put my name in the drawing and I will win and Sam will send me the calls and I will snicker at all the rest of the guys on OG because I am the winner and they are not and I can say, "Lalalahlalahlaaahhh, I won some Gooserbat calls and you guys didn't" and then I am going to make a sound file on how good the calls sound and post it on OG so I can rub it in even more,...and then I'm gonna go take a nap. ;D
Take an extra nap to save energy up, so if I can't hit a turkey with my gun I can run and catch him.
