While at the convention in Nashville I won at auction, the Oklahoma
Lieutenant Governor's invitational turkey hunt. I just got back yesterday
and had a great trip and a successful hunt.
I was able to take these two Rio Grandes. One was 19lbs. 1 1/8" and 1 1/16" spurs
and a 8 1/2" beard and the other was 18.5lbs. 3/4" spurs and 9 3/4" beard.
If you ever have the opportunity to hunt Oklahoma the trip and hunting is great.

Way to go..Those are some pretty gobblers..Nice gun, as well. I am kinda fond of those, myself..Mike :you_rock:
Thanks Guys.
I found that this SBE II worked best with a plain full choke tube and Hevy 3 1/2
5 or 6 shot. The one bird was stepped off at 50. he went straight down no
problem.
It was a great hunt.
Very cool! Great pics. Love those OK Rios,....and the people there are terrific! Congrats!
your so right gobblenut
The hunt was great and the people were so nice, Everyone
went out of their way to help and made sure we all had a good time.
Land owners opened their land so we had good places to hunt
and they feed us like you would not believe.
congrats :z-guntootsmiley:
