Title: Gentlemen, we have an update.
Post by: StruttinGobbler3 on February 15, 2018, 05:20:15 PM
After my post asking about the Cody World Class slate went six pages, I finally bit the bullet, called Bill, and bought one. It showed up today. Fellas, I have to say, love or hate Cody, they have a home run here. This particular case proves you get what you pay for. Hands down the best sounding slate I've ever owned. It's not the flashiest call in the woods, but I'd bet my bottom dollar it will destroy gobblers for a long time. Spring can't come fast enough.

That's awesome. I emailed them and lady told me I would get put on a list and will have to wait several months, which leads me to believe I will not see this call til after Turkey season.

Sometimes your best off to just bite the bullet and get what you want.  Congrats on a your call.

Congrats man. I'm gonna play one tomorrow at the convention and I hope I don't feel like it's worth $200 even after playing it lol.

So the question is....any buyer remorse? I know it sounds good but honestly is it $200 Good in your opinion? If you rewound time would you still order? Lol you get what I'm asking.

Trust me, it hurt to pay 170 dollars for a pot call. I questioned my own sanity a couple of times. However, no buyers remorse here. It's an excellent pot that I believe just has that gobbler killing sound. Doesn't sound like a slate call, it sounds like a hen turkey.
