Title: Winchester SXP
Post by: Florida_Gob_Stopper on February 07, 2018, 07:03:40 PM
Last year was my first year using a Winchester SXP for turkey hunting and I'm jus curious to see if any other hunters are hunting with one currently and what they thought about them? My setup this year is a 26" barrel SXP with a .650 Jebs choke and I plan on shooting #7 Winchester long beard XR.

I've been shooting 1 the past 4 season. I've got 260's in a 10@ 40yds with LB 6's and a pure gold 660 on a 24 inch barrel. I had the forcing cone lengthened and it did pick up numbers in the pattern and fill it out more evenly. Seems like a really good gun for the money other than the trigger. I had mine redone but it still pretty stiff I wouldn't hesitate to buy another if I ever had to.
