Has anyone tried this yet? If so, which wood? What do you think of it? http://www.codyturkeycalls.com/frictioncalls.htm
For starters let it be said I'm a Cody supporter. I think Bill makes good calls. The one I had was cherry and it sounded really good actually. Too pricey though. You can get other calls for less. You'll never sell it. I tried twice and finally gave it to my godson.
I also am no fan of one siders. I like the versatility a reg box call gives.
Overall if you were going to get it and keep it, it's prob a safe bet. Selling you'd lose too much. Custom calls are often cheaper.

we aint buying cars or houses, ive never bought a call thinking well i could always sell it, im with ya, it sounds interesting and is certainly worth a shot, i say go for it, fir woods call them up and talk to them just like you would any other call maker, but that pine "southern belle" would be be the top, ever heard of another pine box?
I guess if i'm going to buy a Cody call, i'm going to have to sell all my old calls on the misc classified////////// Them all i will have to carry is one call...man that would be nice....
