Title: Spooked Birds??

I bumped some toms near their roost today.  The were on the ground coming towards me.  They saw or heard me and ran.  When will they come back to the area?  A few hours, days? I'm the only one hunting them.  Thanks Bill

Go back and keep hunting.Turkeys can't reason but you can.Learn from your mistake.

I haven't been hunting much but everytime I've spooked a bird they've been back within the next 24 hrs unless you were calling and walking when they saw you.

Had a guy bump a Nebraska bird out of the tree row he was strutting in on Saturday at 11:00 AM.  I went back in 2 hours later, called a couple times and got one gobble out of him.  He shut up after that but I saw a couple of hens intermittently - harvested him 3 hours after that at 17 yards after he tried to intimdate the DSD jake...

Get back in there, be cautious, and good luck.
