Slipped in a hunt Wednesday in SC before work and got this one.

Took today off for my birthday and got my Dad in the woods, back in GA. He called in my first longbeard 19 years ago today. I have never killed another bird with him or called one in for him. Ive tried but it hasnt happened. He has some serious military related health issues that limit him getting around. Even though they were Jakes, Ill take a double with my Dad on my birthday any day of the week. I feel my turkey hunting career has now come full circle. Just may be his last spring able to get in the woods.

That's great! It's very cool to be able to help out the people that got you started. Congrats to you and your father!
congrats to you and your dad :icon_thumright:
How cool is that. Congrats on the birds. It's the hunt that counts. Awesome, boys..Mike :you_rock:
I'm tickled to read, particularly on your birthday, you and your dad were able to get doubles!!!!
Definitely one for the memory books. :icon_thumright:
May his health continue to be good enough for you two to do it again.
Is that three generations in the photo?
Congrats to you both!!
God Bless,
David B.
