As stated above, bloodwood/butternut, bloodwood/poplar, snakewood/butternut, bloodwood/Black Limba.

But, the best thing to do is talk to him, and see what woods he has on hand that he is liking right now.

I did and he was liking bloodwood butternut and bloodwood mineral poplar.....have the bloodwood butternut!!

Bloodwood over mineral polar is my pick. I've got a bloodwood butternut also, that sounds good too.

x2.  It's the only combo I have so I'm kind of biased, but I love it.  Nice raspy call that the birds around here seem to love.  I'm sure any combo of his will sound good.  Great guy to deal with.

Nice! Did he give you a time frame? I think I am 8 or 9 months in on a short box.
