Delta is offering 60,000 skymiles until July 5th, when you sign up for a credit card. I signed up yesterday on the phone. Only thing is, you must spend $3000 in the first 4 months to get the miles....then, you can cancel the card if you don't want it. 60,000 miles is a $700-$800 flight for me to go kill a turkey next year!

It's not 3K in one single purchase - it's 3K total over months. All the other airlines usually have a similar deal. If you spent a lot for business or whatever, it's a good deal. I have been flying for free turkey hunting around the country for a long time.
First purchase on mine was a flight to Maine to hunt turkeys in June for the first time a few weeks ago. I don't think I'll have a problem spending $3000 in 4 months. . . unfortunately. These rewards will be better spent than the Cabelas Bucks I once built up to figure out I didn't need anything from Cabelas.
