Is there somewhere in Canada that you can hunt rio turkeys. If so do you have an outfitter

Manitoba also has a resident only turkey season, but I'm not sure of the subspecies.  Pictures on their website look like they could be merriams, rios or some kind of hybrid.

I hunt turkeys here in Ontario and have for about 12 years now.....we only have pure easterns....
I hunt Alberta some years for big game but not for turkeys.....however in Alberta they have merriams but to get a tag its through a draw system and its like winning the lottery and if you do draw a tag you will have to go through a outfitter......my brother lives in Alberta and he told me Id be better off driving south of Alberta into Montana.....he told me he knows guys that has been appling for a turkey tag for 12 years now and still hasnt got one....Manitoba,Ontario,Quebec and New Brunswick are all easterns.....
I dont know the regulations for Manitoba Quebec or NB...but I do know Ontario and Alberta...
Hope this helps....
