When the tax returns came in, I went on the search for a new grill. I was tired of having a "hot spot" that cooked faster than the rest of the grill. I found the Charbroil Infrared grills at Lowe's and read all of the reviews. I'm telling you, this is the best grill I have ever owned or used. It cooks with heat rather than flame via a set of grids/grates above the flames. There is not burning or hotspots with this one. I even put chunks of fruit/nut woods on the grill surface itself to get some smoked flavor in the meat. So far I have done steaks, burgers, hotdogs, sausage, pineapple, sweet potatoes, apples, corn, onions, squash... Oh, man... I've got BBQ chicken leftover for lunch today and burgers thawing at home for tonight. If you're in the market for a new grill, these are awesome!

I put one of those together for my boss a few months back. I was blown away at how quickly it would warm up to temperature! You should have that thing seasoned good now and be ready to throw down Monday! I wish we lived closer, I would offer up some fresh wild turkey breasts to grill for Memorial Day feast. I just bought the Charbroiler dual fuel that has one side charcoal and one side gas burners. The gas side definitely has hot spots so I am working on a few modifications. Enjoy the weekend.

Wendell is right, I cooked about 50 hamburgers and hotdogs at a friends house last weekend and not one flare up. That grill is the mack daddy of all gas grills. Congrats on the new grill, I know there will be some fine eatin coming off that baby.
Just bought one of the 2 burner models today at Lowes.Got it for $100 off because of a really small dent in the back of the lid.
When do we eat?
