I had a total right right shoulder replacement back in Jan. My doctor told me I was ready to shoot my 12 g 3.5 in Browning Gold Hunter after 9 wks. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170531/7f5d412eae65a4ec673c7b35184975ee.jpg)

Glad to hear you are getting along VERY well since the surgery. I had back surgery last June after the close of our spring season and it has made a world of difference for me. It's tough getting older but with the advances in medicine and surgery, we can all lead a BETTER quality of life and still be able to do the things we LOVE well into our Golden years. Good Luck and Happy Hunting for many years to come.
congrats on the bird... glad your doing so much better.... We are just in our prime...
Good to hear, about the recovery and the bird. Congrats!!!!
Ya did good there my ol friend. Glad to see that old Jet slate trick worked.
Wow, congrats to you on both the bird & recovery.
Congratulations on the nice gobbler and the shoulder recovery. That 3.5 inch shell is a true test of how well you've healed. It is amazing what modern medicine can do.
Jim
I'll have to admit that when the somewhat out of focus photo popped up, I initially thought that the 10" white beard was on a guy named Tom. I was afraid to look for the spurs! Anyway, that's a nice comeback from being 16 weeks out of action. No tellin' how tough you'll be by the 2018 spring turkey season when we'll expect to see some more gobblers with stats included.
CONGRATULATIONS
I bet that tom wishes that you hadn't recovered so quickly! Congrats! :z-guntootsmiley: :icon_thumright: :TooFunny:
