Only 5 more days until the Maryland opener!!! Man has it come up fast. I moved to a new house over the weekend so things have been EXTREMELY crazy for my wife and myself for the past month or so. Dug through all the boxes and finally found all my turkey killing stuff. Between the crappy weather and the move I haven't been out to scout at all this year. Sucks, but I've been hunting my grandfathers land for the past 18 years and have a good idea of where the birds typically are. My Dad is moving to Texas next week so this weekend I get to help him load up the 28 foot trailer. As if my life wasn't crazy enough at this point. Just have to finish making my ghillie suit and conditioning my calls and I'll be good to go. I can hardly wait to get some much needed peace and quiet in the woods, and hopefully a big 'ol bird!!!
