Been a tough Spring. I took a jake about 1 week ago and a nice 20 pound gobbler before work this morning. 1" spurs and a 81/2" beard. Light rain and wind today. They are still gobbling very good!!

Congrats. It has been a very tough season for sure. I did not do a lot of hunting due to work obligations but when I did, it rained every day on me but one.
Where about in NY? I hunt Sullivan and Ulster counties.
Way to go! Thats alot of good turkey tenders!

Nice!
I took this tom in the Orange County Black Dirt area where onions fields go on forever.
I'm somewhat New hunting again after taking a few years off so I didn't get to hunt the golden years of NY but we saw many more birds in western NY than last year. So many Jakes it was absurd. Those that waited were rewarded with big fat birds. 22 lbs 1inch spurs and 10inch beard and dad got 21.5 1.25inch spurs and 11.5 beard absolute ham of a bird. I was so proud to call that bad boy for him!
