Title: Remington 1100 LT20 magnum 21" barrel (input needed)
Post by: Chilly on April 13, 2011, 07:37:38 AM
I have a 1100 LT20 magnum with a 21" barrel set up for my wife to use... The gun has not been used to shoot turkeys for a while...the last time i patterned it, it shot the Remington Hevi-shot #6's pretty good... I recently had the forcing cone cut, and polished... I polished the barrel myself....  I have a Remington SF choke for it.. .570 I think... I also have a Tru-Glo gobble stopper for it and i think it measures .565...  I have a couple of NITRO 4,5,7 loads for it and I have a box of hevi-13 #6....  Which choke would you guys reccomend for this set up?  Any input would be greatly appreciated..

I would start with the .565.  Some are getting great patterns from the Rem SF, but I never did.  I shoot a Hastings .562 and it is the ticket for me.
