I know myself and others have been asking about outfitters for different species to help out with finding good places to go. I thought it would be good to have a thread of outfitters people have used with positive experiences for different species
Who can afford a zillion dollars to pay one of those guys? Not me.
I think its a good question/thought. If one doesn't have access to land locally or friends they can ride shotgun with or someone like an internet stranger who says "come on out and ill get you pointed in the right direction" after some phone discussion etc.. an outfitter may be your most feasible option for a bucket list hunt.
An example is Merriams which is now on my bucket list. My goal is to go at by free lancing as I've done with upland birds out west and Canada, but when you start looking at a 3000 to 6000 mile round trip you gotta have your ducks in a row or its a long arse ride. Having a contact, friend or stranger who becomes a friend etc can really turn that experience into a lifetime experience.

Honestly after doing my trip to the black hills diy style I was adding up cost and after almost coming home empty handed the outfitter route might not be a bad idea. I'm interested to hear the suggestions
Since I do outfit a limited number of hunts myself I have a different perspective that just that of a customer. Sure I can put a guy on birds but for the total experience when it's Rio's look no farther than Stuart Ranch in Oklahoma.
Good topic lets keep it going.
Merriams: Seven J Outfitters
Merriams/Wyoming- Thomas Ranch Outfitters....nothing fancy but he has the birds. Self guided which most folks prefer anyway.
Osceola- Deep South with Capt Billy Henderson
Osceola shooters
Small family run business

Merriams- 7 j's Wyoming and S Dakota
Rio's- rut n strut Oklahoma
