Still a little green to scoring turkeys and a buddy insisted I had it officially scored. I put the numbers in NWTF calculator. I want to give out the numbers and see what yal come up with to confirm what I got.
Spur length 1 1/8---Left
1 3/16--Right
Beard
Longest 10.5
2nd 8.6875
3rd 6.375
4th 3.875
Bird weight 21.5
103.45
Thanks. I must have done it wrong. I thought it was all beards added and multiply that by 2. Spur length added multiply that by 10 and add the weight of the bird. Where did I go wrong?

Great bird! If I may say one thing though. Please don't get caught up in what a bird scores. Some will measure up better than others but the true score is the excitement he brings to you as you work him to the gun. I have killed a lot of birds that would never "score " that high but they have etched their way into my memory forever. Nothing wrong at all with admiring a "good un". But remember any bird that raises your heart rate and makes you shake is a "good un". Congrats on a fine bird.

spurs: 1.125 + 1.1875 = 2.3125 X 10 = 23.125
Beards: total length of all added = 29.4375 X 2 = 58.875
Weight: 21.5 = 21.500
Total Score = 103.5
Would of been a good'un in a year or two...... :funnyturkey:

I ain't telling. Addition and multiplication was never my strong suit.
