I Doubled on these birds this morning, I had a different plan set but those birds went the other way, I ended up spotting these birds in a field and dropped in below them and made my way to the timber. Once I started getting close I took a peek and could see them about 150 yards down the pasture from me. I started with some sweet old yelps on the Cody "Legend" Slate Call and they just lit up. I worked them for about 15 minutes and knocked one down, as soon as I did the other bird started to beat him down and #2 went down right with him!!

Congrats! What state? A KS double? Either way looks good, and sounds like a heart thumper. Love watching the second bird beat up the flopping first bird.
