Title: Cheap way to display a double beard
Post by: troutfisher13111 on May 07, 2017, 09:22:45 AM
My buddy shot a nice double bearded bird this morning.  They are pretty rare around here. Anyone have any economical ways to display one? He doesn't have a lot of cash right now and no room for a full mount anyway.

I just did a basic fan mount on the one I killed last year, but wanted to insure it had the double beard look and this was the best way I could think of, and I am very pleased with it:

Depends on the size of the 2nd beard but I punched the primer out and mounted mine like this.  I think the plaque cost me $10 at Dick's after the season was over.
