Title: Anyone shoot a Beretta A300 Turkey
Post by: woody on May 01, 2017, 09:45:17 PM
Does anyone shoot a Berettta A300 turkey?  I have one on the way for my son. I have a Hevishot choke I'm going to start with. For ammo I have a good selection.

Not an a300 but a squareback 390.  Shoots Longbeard 6s through a .665 choke really well.

I have an a300 outlander for ducks, crows and doves and it's a heck of a gun. I have shot easily 1000 rounds through it without a single mechanical hiccup and I've only cleaned it maybe 3 or 4 times.  It has truly surprised me at how reliable it is. I've never patterned it for turkeys but I'm sure the gun you have on the way will be a great gun for your son and last him a lifetime. Good luck with it!

I have one for my wife and it's been a great shotgun. Went with a .650 Sumtoy and with #6 in the 2 3/4" Winchester rooster load it will get in the 190s. Haven't shot any 3" shells through it yet
