Title: Wyoming Turkey hunting question.
Post by: blake_08 on April 30, 2017, 09:01:22 PM
 Hello all,

My wife has some family that lives in Gillette (sp?), Wyoming and we're  wanting to plan a trip there next year to see them. Does anyone have information on that area? I'm just looking for very general information. Is there public hunting within 50 miles of the town of Gillette and does anyone know if there's a healthy turkey population there or do I need to try and plan the trip during antelope season. Thanks y'all.

I know there used to be turkeys in the Hulett area. That was some years ago but I'd imagine they're still there...

Yes there's birds, just East of you there'll be some good public land.
