Title: Wisconsin Hunters Activity
Post by: wdog on April 30, 2017, 04:48:40 PM
I had Period A Zone 2 and birds appeared to be very henned up still managed to get it done but noticed minimal gobbling and not a lot of mid day action. How is it looking lately I have a zone 3 period c tag. I'm hoping the hens start splitting off.

I had zone C, period A, only Saturday and Sunday did the gobbling start on the roost.  Got one on Thursday, day after opener, came in silent in the middle of a thunderstorm and crazy rain, I think I just got lucky and he was roosted close and heard my call, he was toast by 6:30am.  Have two tags for the D season so we shall see how that goes, pretty late in the season in my opinion but beats work.  Good luck.
