Three weeks into our season and I finally got a gobbler in front of me . I was on public land because neither of my other places have any turkeys this year . I was set up on the edge of a green field before daylight and he gobbled his head off until he flew down . A few calls from my Twisted Sister brought him to 30 yards and the #6 Longbeards did the rest . He had two beards - one nine and one six inches and exactly inch long spurs .
Good job, congrats!
:icon_thumright: I'm sorry, but we'll need pics to verify this bird! (Kidding, congrats!)
Congrats to you.
