Title: Looking to build Turkey gun
Post by: kwarner on April 28, 2017, 09:17:17 PM
Does anyone have the Beretta a350?  Opinions?  I'm currently shooting my benelli sbe2.  No complaints just use it as my duck and turkey gun.  Looking to build a primary turkey gun for next season.  Im even open to building a 20ga. Wanting scope and possibly thumbhole stock.  Looked at the Beretta as it comes in mossy oak obsession which I prefer.

I just got the Beretta A350 Turkey this year and liked it so much I got my dad one also. Went with the .650 Sumtoy choke and put a Leupold 2X7 With the turkey plex on mine. Shooting #6 shot in the Winchester LBs I'm getting between 260 and 290 hits in a 10" circle. Mag Blends shot best out of the .665 Sumtoy. I tried a few different constrictions with Jebs and IC but nothing touched the Sumtoy chokes.

Thanks for the reply!  Do you know if they make a pistol or thumbhole stock for those?  I have a Jebs I'm my current benelli but will definitely check out other chokes.

In the quick research I just did I haven't seen a Beretta featuring a pistol grip or thumbhole stock other than the 1301, which is a "tactical" shotgun for police use. Maybe go custom stock or a different firearm?
