Holy smokes. A 13 beard from PA and a 2.5 spur from NC.
13 beards , that's awesome,,, spurs not bad either,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
spur is fake - it's a piece of deer antler glued onto a leg. ;D
The 13 bearded bird must have been taken by a mentor youth hunter then because our regular season doesn't open until this Saturday.
Wow them turkeys are on good Roids :happy0064:
Maybe it's just my suspicious nature, but I call bull on both.
#5 on the beard is considered a pubic hair, so only 12 beards, not impressed lol

Yes it was taken by a youth hunter. A young man.
All I can say is I'm impressed with both.

Saw an article will try and update with link but I believe this bird was taken in Macon County North Carolina
13 beards is cool. but, im far impressed with those spurs.
I hope they are both real. If so that spur is incredible. Hate to "F" with that bad boy.

Amazing spur! Seen some long ones on yard birds, but nothing like that in the wild! Any limb would do for that bad boy! I sure would have reached down and grabbed it while he was still kicking!
WOW!!!
