Second day of season and I connected on a fine gobbler. Had 2 Toms come to field with 6 hens but would not come any closer than 80 yds. After an hour and a half the hens started heading the opposite direction from me so I snuck through the woods to hopefully head them off. When I got to opposite end of field they were already into treeline to next property but fortunately for me a group of crows didn't appreciate them there and actually chased them back out into field. I have never seen crows dive bombing turkeys like they were but it worked in my favour as it kept the turkeys attention off of my direction and drove them back into the field into gun range where he met his demise. Only time I have been glad to have crows around!!
