Can any of y'all give a first hand review of this vest? Looks basically like a remake of the super elite III more or less.. thinking ordering one because I can't find one in stores near me. Just looking for reviews on the quality of it and fit of it i.e. runs big, runs small, ect. thanks!
I bought one a couple weeks ago and used it this past weekend during our youth hunt. Quality wise I think it's a step above Russel. It's also pretty comfortable. As far as sizing it seems to be accurate. I really have nothing bad to say at this point.
Hope this helps

does the cushion have magnets to hold it in place on your back? If so how are they?
I have one. No magnets. I like my elite 3 better, but the alps is definitely better quality wise than the new version mossy oak one I bought last spring.
Thanks for the responses.. I wore out an old elite3 that I used for years and loved. I replaced it with the mossy oak elite 2 which was horrible quality that with a fair bit of sewing broken straps and rigged latches I barely squeaked two seasons out of.. ill be ordering one of the ALPS now with more confidence
I wore mine this morning for opening day. I can say it's very well made but one noticable thing was how quiet the vest was while walking in. There are many pockets, I feel it has plenty of room for most things. I like how it fits me, but the seat is a little big and bulky (I'm sure my tush would appreciate it). But I didn't use the seat since I was in a chair and it was easy to remove. All in all it is a nice vest. Much nicer than the ol Tom equivalent IMO. Well worth the money.
