I just ordered one of these as a backup turkey gun for me or friends to use. I wanted one that had the LPA adjustable trigger, pistol grip and also 20in barrel. Looks like the only 835 with a 20in barrel has a regular stock....it also weights .5lb more. So I got the 535...don't ever plan to use anything over 3in shells, so I'm not sure the overbore 835 is as important.
Anyway.. Do any of you use the provided Truglo red dot that comes with these guns? What are you thoughts all around?

I had one and ended up selling it to a friend. Very light and nice gun. Short barrel was nice in the woods and blinds. Shot a couple birds with it. Was a handful with 3.5" shells, but never noticed recoil when i was hunting and never let it bother me. No issues with the factory Tru-glo sight and it held zero. The trigger was nice and easily adjustable. Gun patterned VERY well with hevi-shot choke tube and magblends.
Thanks for the info.
