Title: felt recoil from recoil operated auto
Post by: agent eight seven O on April 25, 2017, 03:39:00 PM
Hey all, I have had a hankering for an auto loader as of late. I like the looks and feel of Franchi Affinity and Stoeger 3000. How is the recoil on these guns compared to a 11-87? Would I be right thinking recoil is between a gas operated auto and a pump gun? Thanks all.

I would say it is closer to gas operated than it is to a pump.

Those guns are pretty "gentle" and as has been said, closer to a gas gun than a pump.

Thanks,
Clark

I agree with Clark. Also may want to look at the Weatherby Element for recoil operated....about the same price as the others.    I got one last year for waterfowl, etc...  really like it.
