Hunted last 3 mornings and haven't heard a single gobble. Seen birds so know they are around.
It has been almost like that all week in my hunting area in Tenn...
Eastern middle Tennessee too. The logjam will break soon.

They've been suppressed the entire season where I've been in East TN.
It's been spotty all year seems like I've seen very few mornings where I thought the gobbling was good Would hear a bird or 2 but not near what you know is around Course they have been gobbling since the middle of February. Maybe they're just tired lol

x2 ... agree
Central Kentucky is no better. Been a rough week. Got on a pair mid-day Thursday that acted right. Very little to no gobbling on the roost. I've been talking to people across several counties and they are having the same problem.
It's been that way All season, been a crazy year. Gobble off the roost, not much after that.

I may need you to road trip to Illinois and help me in a few days! Congrats on a good one!
Very nice!
We hunted saturday and sunday morning without hearing a gobble. Plenty of water though...
This has been by far the worse season for hearing or seeing birds in Alabama. I keep a log on dates, where I hunted, what I heard, seen, etc. etc. With less than a week left I've hunted 19 times, heard three gobbles, and seen two Toms. I'm thinking the state lied when they estimated the population.
I have been probably 12 or 13 times in Virginia heard gobbles on three of those days. Been slow turkey sign everywhere just silent
